🍴 Understanding Halal Food

Halal is an Arabic term meaning "permissible." When it comes to food, halal refers to dietary guidelines that Muslims follow, ensuring what they consume is pure, clean and prepared according to the Islamic law (Sharia). Additionally, the food must be prepared and processed using equipment free from contamination with non-halal substances.

For meat to be considered halal, it must come from animals slaughtered humanely and in accordance with Sharia. Certain animals, such as pigs, and those that are dead prior to slaughter are excluded from being considered halal.

 Halal Uncertified‎ 

The eatery has not undergone the certification process but remains fully halal, sourcing meat from halal-certified suppliers and not serving alcohol or pork.
